该课程于1999年9月设立，是亚太地区首个连接商业与技术的课程。旨在培养技术娴熟且具有商业头脑的人才，为香港企业提供创新解决方案。学生需完成48学分加论文（相当于24学分）或60学分加案例研究项目（相当于12学分）方可毕业。
