本课程旨在推动对澳门政治、经济、社会、文化和历史等方面的连贯的、综合和跨学科的研究，一方面为澳门服务，同时通过对澳门的了解更好地理解东西方交流的过程，有助于学术界进一步理解澳门在东西方文化、宗教、文学、艺术等方面互动中所发挥的重要桥梁作用。
